Memoria ddr 400 y ddr 333 pueden trabajar juntas?

Saludos, resulta que contaba con una memoria ddr333 256 y ahora obtuve una de 1gb ddr400, las instale para probar porque ya me habian dicho que no se podia,pero lo intente y la computadora anda normal, el problema es ese, no noto mucha diferencia, tiene que ver con la conbinacion de estas diferentes frecuencias? es correcto ponerlas a trabajar las dos aunque no sean del mismo ddr? Ayuda porfavor....

Son ddr las dos, y la de 400 esta trabjando a una frecuencia de 333,

Si tu Motherboard soporta 1 Giga (de capacidad) o más de memoria por cada zócalo no tendrás problemas. Y en cuanto a su velocidad, si son del mismo tipo (DDR) no importa que sean de velocidades distintas, pero en el "Setup" debes ponerlas a la velocidad de la más lenta (333 MHZ en tu caso), aunque tu Motherboard soporte 400 MHZ o más.
También debes tener en cuenta el FSB (Front Side Bus) de tu procesador. En muchos casos es conveniente que el FSB esté sincronizado con la memoria. En mi caso particular tengo un Athlon XP 2800+ (FSB de 333 MHZ) y memorias DDR de 400 MHZ, pero aunque mi mother ABIT NF7 soporta memorias de esa velocidad, las pongo a funcionar a 333 MHZ y así la PC funciona mejor porque trabajan sincronizadamente con el procesador.

Bueno... no todas las placas base necesitan trabajar de modo síncrono, la mayoría ya lo hacen de modo asíncrono (FSB/DRAM) y no es ningún problema.. de todos modos no vas a notar al aumentar la memoria que el pc se te vaya a disparar en velocidad ya que esto depende más del micro, pero si que vas a notar que los procesos se ejecutan más deshagodamente y que vas a poder cargar aplicaciones mucho más pesadas que lo hacías con solo 256, es decir lo notarás solo cuando ejecutes varios programas o programas pesados que necesariamente van a ocupar una gran cantidad de memoria, no vas a notar la diferencia con la ejecución de un solo proceso básico ya que te ocupa menos de 256.. no se si me explico

Mi tarjeta tiene dos slot de 1gb c/u,actualmente tengo las dos memorias instaladas y lo q veo raro es que no hay mucha diferencia, tiene que ver el que tenga un procesador celeron D?. Por otro lado al encender mi pc me dice que esta trabajando a 260 mhz, lo que no entiendo ya que deberia ser 333 mhz en todo caso, aun cuando dejo solo la de 400 mhz me sigue mostrando 260 mhz, como puedo configurar mi pc para que trabaje a la velocidad debida ya sea 333 con las dos o 400 con solo una, agradezco la ayuda.

Al entrar, la primera pantalla que muestra el bios al encender la pc, donde comunmente muestra el tipo de memoria y la informacion del cpu.

Entonces las memorias estan trabajando en la minima frecuencia,
Entra al bios, y configuralas, en algun lado que encuentres donde configurar las frecuencias de las memos pone
"determined By Spd"

A ver.. qué es lo que te dice que está trabajando a 260 Mhz.. el FSB del micro.. el micro? no creo que se refiera a la velocidad de las memorias ya que has dicho que son de 333 Mhz .. a no ser que realmente te estén trabajando a 266 Mhz (133 de base).. la velocidad de 260 Mhz no existe para las memorias

¿Podrías poner por favor un informe de las pestañas SPD y Resumen del ordenador?
Hazlo con el Everest si puedes..
