Exactamente eso me sucede(lo del titulo)...hace un tiempo intente correr un juego y el resultado de eso fue la desactivacion de los direct y datos del dispositivo de video.

No he podido habilitarlos ya que no me da ninguna posibilidad para llegar a ello y el marcar la opcion "Probar DirectDraw" : Los Resultados de la prueba de DirectDraw: Todas las pruebas fueron satisfactorias.

" Notas:
La funcionalidad de Direct3D no está disponible. Debe comprobar que se trata de la versión final del controlador que obtuvo del fabricante de hardware."

Ese mensaje que me sale en la ventana de notas en realidad no tengo idea como comprobar la actualizacion del controlador ya que despues de ese suceso con el juego desaparecio esa informacion.

Ahora cuando trato de volver a jugar con los juegos que si me corrieron antes, solo me aparece la pantalla en negro pero con el sonido del juego andando. Y otro dato es que al estar en internet y mover la barra de la ventana hacia abajo, su flujo no es continuo, ya saben, se va deteniendo algunos segundos, no baja rapidamente y suave como lo hacia antes.

¿Que puedo hacer para correjir ese problema?

bueno yo creo que tu problema se puede intentar resolver con la actualizacion de los drivers de tu tarjeta gráfica que por alguna razon se han eliminado

Intentalo desde administrador de dispositivos-adaptadores de pantalla-seleccion la tarjeta e intenta actualizar el controlador, o ve a la pagina del fabricante y descargate los drivers

Bueno ya encontre cual era la tarjeta...
S3 Inc. Trio3d/2X Display Driver Version 5.30.05 Engineering Release

Eso es lo que dice claramente...busque por internet algun driver que tuviera exactamente el mismo nombre..."S3 Inc. Trio3d/2X Display" ya que hay hartos driver que tienen casi el mismo nombre y simplemente quiero instalarlo adecuadamente....
Pero al instalarlo...luego me sale un mensaje que dice:


"Setup was unable to complete the installation. Check the progress log in your Windows directory for more details."

No entiendo, que debo hacer?? debo desintalar el anterior driver??? (encontre la misma version para instalarla de nuevo)

bueno lo que te digo es que localizes que tarjeta tienes, esto que pones creo que es un driver no la tarjeta

Entra en Mipc-bot. dr.-propiedades-hardware-administrador de dispositivos , y dime que pone en Adaptadores de pantalla, esa es la grafica y desde ahi es desde donde debes intentar encontrar el controlador adecuado o actualizar el que tienes, si no acude a la pagina del fabricante

Tampoco debes descartar el que sea problema de virus, o tambien intenta volver a un punto de restauracion anterior al problema
